This is the method Judy Mathieson uses ...I love it. This is the method Judy Mathieson uses in her books, and it is how I made my first two Mariner's Compass blocks and my first feathered star. I do think it is a great technique and I once made a list of what I consider the advantages because I received so many questions about it. But on the disadvantage side, I have felt that as I have been working in miniature, it is not quite as precise as just working with a regular paper foundation.
