can you see me smiling?

See my friend helping with a photo shoot? Oh we are so happy to have this wee boy back!!
But we are a bit confused about cat law, as our other two cats, (one is Simon's sister, Rose) are hissing & growling at him. We just don't get it? Is this some effort to re-establish their pecking order? maybe when Simon went missing for 5 days, they, Brian & Rose arranged the pecking order to suit just the two of them? I really don't know.

Anyway while taking photo's of the finished quilt (that I can't show you more until later) I took a photo of my first Round Robin quilt.

2009, 12 of us started a group & had some fun & laughs each month. This quilt is hanging in my studio, it is a nice reminder of the love of quilting, friendship & good times.

Last night we went to see "War Horse" at the movies, I really liked this film. A sad/ happy film. If you are a animal lover & like stories of friendship, you will most likely enjoy.

Happy days & thanks for your friendship xxxxxx

  1. Lovely quilt....I would love to be part of something like that. I am glad to hear you enjoyed "War Horse" I would like to see it but afraid of my emotions. World War I is a subject that upsets me and so is lost animals. Glad your kitty came home and not sure why his mates are behaving like that...they will no doubt sort it out soon enough.

  2. As he gets stronger surely 'happy families' will resume, so nice to see Simon helping you with the photo shoot. Great to see the R-R quilt again - it took me a while to remember my block! Wonder if I can drag my MOML out to the movies - sounds a worthwhile film :-)

  3. Simon looks so much like our cat 'Boots' :O) Maybe they are upset because he is getting a wee bit more attention since he got back ;o)
Love the colours in the quilt... a round robin sounds fun!
