How do you like the setting of this Log Cabin quilt???
I love it, so different and visually stunning.
Margaret made this beauty and I have to tell you, this quilt has been very well made.All foundation pieced.
Measuring 96" x 96" this was not a quick weekend project for Margaret! This quilt has wool batting, so I was very cosy quilting this...
Margaret will now have a lovely warm quilt for winter.

Using Madeira Metallic thread for a bit of sparkle on the brown fabrics I carried the design I did in the centre of the quilt out to the four corners.I did Woven Lines on the border.I got this idea from Leah Day  and carried the idea to some other blocks too..............
