It's that time of the year in my garden. Spring is putting on a full show!
Once upon a time gardening was my main passion before patchwork grabbed me by the ankles & pulled me under. Now I find myself grumbling when I'm working in the garden, I shouldn't I know, but I'd rather be sewing! But I do enjoy looking at our beautiful garden (maybe not the weeds!) & the native birds hanging out there too.

Your garden is lookiing very pretty - your roses are in full bloom, way ahead of mine - its been so cold here that I was told there are hardly any blooms for the upcoming Rose Show. Of course you live in a much warmer climate than I do ... move down here my friend (!!!) 😉 You'd love the cold!

ReplyDeleteLove the meme--and I could laughingly relate to your thoughts on gardening. I use to be so passionate about it. A combination of things cooled my enthusiasm (kids leaving home, so now all the weeding is mine, back trouble, so weeding is no fun, binder weed invasion that doesn't respond to any method of eradication, skin cancer that makes me want to avoid sun, and--I'd rather be quilting!) But your garden looks so much better than mine ever does anymore. Gorgeous flowers!
