I recently made this cushion for Raewyn 's birthday. A trapunto cushion, and simple cross hatching on the back.

I made this quilt for my Dad, he will be 82 next week. Over here
I posted about giving it to my brother, but hey a quilter can change her mind!
After visiting Karen & seeing her Baptist Fan quilting, I thought this would be a great quilt to try this nice all over pattern.

A few 'arty' photo's................. ( ok so photography is not my strong point!)
why the sideways photo's??

And last but not least, a present for me........................

This fabric is from Buggy Barn called " Harvest House"..........skirt pattern some pattern I have had for years.

  1. Hi!! Love your trapunto pillow!! What amazing beautiful work you do!! I giggled when i saw my name... :) Your baptist fan is perfect on your father's quilt...and i think the tree is a great backdrop! we really need to get together someday!!!!

  2. Beautiful cushion:-) It(co-incidently!) matches the curtain fabric I bought yesterday! Love how you finished the hexagon quilt for yor brother whoops Dad! Lovely arty photos - as long as you have fun taking them that's all that matters I reckon!!

  3. The cushion is gorgeous! And I think it's a quilters prerogative to change their mind about the recipient! I'm sure your Dad will feel very blessed... :O)

  4. What a gorgeous cushion - the fabric sheen really shows off the quilting :)

  5. Oh, that pillow is to die for! The quilt is the perfect man-quilt. :)
