another wall hanging & Christmas

Ngaire has been busy again....................................

The New Zealand native bird Kakoka  sometimes called New Zealand Crow.

The Christmas tree is up &  few decorations, wanna come see?................

The tree skirt I made & love, there are some special decorations on this tree, some made by my kids, some from distant shores, some made by my hands,

A Christmas quilt I made a few years ago, it was a online mystery with Susan Claire.
My friend Barbara made this reindeer about 17years ago, every year I smile when I get him out of his box!

A corner in our lounge, the wooden quilt hanger I made in the wood work room at school ( my son has now started making some to sell ), Lynette Anderson's button mystery BOM from last year, "Christmas Fun" & my boys stockings.
Our dining room, evidence of my cross stitch days!!
I have finished another quilt, that I will show you as soon as it has been collected by its owner & I am working on a beautiful Hatched & Patched quilt, with the neatest stitching I have seen!

  1. What a wonderful Xmas house you have, Leeanne! I love the angels on the tree skirt. Ànd the lovely xstitch it is so sweet!!! Our house will be turned in Christmas sphere after today: we celebrate St. Nicolaas today (he looks a little like your Santaclaus. He comes in November from Spain to Holland, and rides on his white horse on the roofs, he has helpers which put little gifts in the chimneys some nights before 5 Dec. But tonight he comes to give the presents, so all little children are so nervous this day.
What a nice bird quilt. It reminds me on the Museum in Wellington, where we saw all those birds and animals living in NZ, what a tremendous event!!!
    Have a nice night, Cisca

  2. My kids would love your Christmassy house. The only evidence of Christmas here is the increased stress levels!

  7. Your Christmas decorations are incredible, you have some beautiful pieces. I had to smile when I saw the I Love Hugs cross stitch - I have the very same one in my sewing room! I stitched it when I was expecting our first daughter nearly thirteen years ago, but she thinks she has outgrown it and has donated it back to me to hang in my sewing room ...... Her loss.....my gain!
Have a great week, Nicky x
