Three personal finishes.......................

Welcome and Happy New Year! I hope your festive holidays were wonderful. Mine have been great, I have seen family and friends and started a new project and managed to quilt three of my own quilt tops.

Quilt Information:

Pattern - Moda Cake Mix Papers #2
Measurements - 53" x 67"
Batting - Wool/Polyester.
Backing - Blue Paisley.
Quilting - E2E Quilting - Geo Tiles.
Threads - Glide.

I started this quilt at a class at The Country Yard using two Kona Solids and a Moda Layer Cake - Road 15 by Sweetwater. I had a couple of spare blocks left over so one was snapped up to use as a label.

Quilt Information:

Pattern - Strawberries Forever - By Natalia Bonner
Measurements - 61" x 61"
Batting - Wool/Polyester.
Backing - Pieced from scraps.
Quilting - E2E Quilting - Snow Globe.
Threads - Glide.

Natalia asked me if I would do a pattern test for her, she gave me a choice of three patterns, I went with this fun quilt using my 2.5" squares. I haven't put a label on it yet as I haven't decided if it's a keeper or to give as a gift.

 Quilt Information:
Pattern - Scrap Vomit
Measurements - 53" x 53"
Batting - Polyester.
Backing - Pieced scrappy.
Quilting - E2E Quilting - Frilly Hearts
Threads - Glide.

Another quilt made from my 2.5" scrappy squares, this one is for my gift box.

I made three zippered pouches while my granddaughter stayed, they are addictive to make and likable as  my granddaughter has taken all three home! Again using my 2.5' squares people!

We went pony riding, visiting friends alpaca's, made muffins, did sewing together, went to the beach, not always taking a photo, simply enjoying and being plugged into the moment.

  2. The first one is my favorite, too. Nice juxtaposition of of the swirling quilting design on the angular piecing. Beautiful quilt.
