Quilting for Amy, Julie & Marcelle

Hello Quilty Friends!
Long time no see. Can you believe it's mid February?? How is the start to your year going?
Have you made anything interesting? Please do tell!
In today's post I can share photos of a very unique & personal quilt styled from Amy's daughters card to she made for her grandmother when she was a child.
Also a beautiful double sided quilt that Julie & her sister made to give to their brother.
At the end of last year Marcelle commissioned me to make two duffle bags for her twin daughters.
I got them made & posted back to Marcelle in time for her to give to her daughters on their 13th birthdays in February.
 Both girls LOVE their ponies,
so when you see the bags I'm sure you will agree why they love them the bags.
Grab a comfy set & your favourite drink & take a look:

Thank you so much Amy, Julie & Marcelle!

A couple of weekends ago I dragged hubby along to an open Dahlia garden with great excitement....from me, not him!
We took a bucket & $30 to full with Dahlia's & full that bucket it up we did!
I was surprised that my hubby while not jumping up & down with excitement saying "Oh & Ahh" every second flower like I was he was well behaved :) He actually picked some really beautiful flowers. Sadly the flowers haven't lasted as long as a quilt does.

Just some rows of flowers!

Just some of the displays we had around the house.

This rich velvety coloured one got broken, so I lay it in a shallow dish

Thanks so much for stopping by, until next time, drink that coffee, have that slice of cake!
