this is a blog of quilting not cats!

Is this a happy face or what! This  is a Laurel Burch fabric. Ngaire's granddaughter has made a fabulous job of this quilt.

Out came the Madeira polyneons for this quilt, a flower border, cross hatching, loopy-la-la's & orange peel, click on the photo's for more detail if you fancy.

Also finished the mystery stitchery for The Country Yard . Many ladies were part of this nine month mystery stitchery and are already lining up to what is in store for this years mystery!

Once again my nice selection of Madeira's polyneons came in handy with a simple wandering leafy vine. The puffy poly batting gives this quilt nice texture.

  1. I can imagine that happy face sitting in one of my scrappy houses. Lovely quilts and of course lovely quilting - I like the flowers around the border of the cat quilt - a nice happy touch.

  2. Quilts and Cats go together like bacon and eggs or roast beef and yorkshire pudding :)
I LOVE the cat quilt - and the fabric :)
