But that was about to change..................................
The Jelly was awful, crooked, fraying, poor Noeline I was sure this would be the last we would see of her in the quilting world, but alas she persevered & with a bit of help, she finished the top. Noeline was even going to quilt it herself, but by the time she tacked it all up, she was.... I quote "OVER IT!"
Anyway Noeline & I decided on an allover curvy pattern to help smooth out some of the imperfections, I'll leave to up to you to decide.

Off to make butter chicken & Jasmine rice now......mmmmmm yum!
Paying a premium price for jelly rolls doesn't guarantee that they will be straight and even. I have bought Bali Pops in the past - very irregular strips = very frustrated sewer!
ReplyDeletePoor Noeline, a lady at my quilting class had the same problem with a Spotlight jelly roll. The quilt looks lovely all quilted and finished though. Mmmm dinner sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteYou both did a great job.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on the jellyrolls... the quilt looks great despite the hassle of sewing it together. :O)
