scraps, 30's, heirloom quilting & Barry

Jocelin dug deep in her scrap bag & made this colourful quilt. I was asked to do an all over design, so swirly flowers it was.
Denise made this quilt for a friend who has recently had a baby girl. Very pretty in 30's fabrics.
Next a sneaky peaky of what I been working on  for sometime in between customers quilts...................
Not sure when I will get to show you the finished quilt as there is still much to do, but a few hours here & there will get it finished........................
I finished a book by Barry Crump, called " Wild Pork & Watercress", I loved it! I didn't want it to end. The whole family has read it now, well not  the cats!
Thanks for stopping by to see what I have been up to!

  1. Ha! We love those Barry Crump books too - real Kiwi! You get a great variety of quilts to work on -it's so interesting. Love what you're doing with your special quilt.

  2. A true kiwi man that Barry Crump! I remember when I was young my dad reading those books and rawing with laughter! The quilts look beautiful and I can't wait to see the last one finished!

  3. I love the quilted butterfly on your quilt, I am really looking forward to seeing more of it!
The other quilts are lovely too :O)

  4. Mmmm.... more yummy quilting! Great job, Leeanne!

  5. Oh yes.....these are all lovely Leeanne, especially your sneek peek!!!

  6. Beautiful quilts, I love the 30's one, very pretty. I'm sure your cats would appreciate the wild pork more than the watercress!
