Animal Quilts - series one....................

Good evening quilt lovers I am super delighted to finally share a secret I have been keeping under my quilting hat since August last year! My friends will tell you I'm a safe bet with secrets, but this one was like bubbling fizzy in my tummy! I was so excited about these quilts. Juliet of The Tartankiwi asked me if I would be her exclusive quilter for 12 of her wonderful designs that would be released into a book...........what do you reckon I said???............. YES of course.

We had a tight time frame to get all these finished for the publishers, but we did it. I will share them with you over several blog posts. First is the OWL...........................

The back...............................

Second is the Panda...........................

The back......................................

So that's two down, ten more to share. To order your very own copy of this fabulous book - complete with a CD see here on Juliet's blog for more details. I look forward to sharing more of these scrumptious quilts with you soon.

  1. Wow, my quilter is in print!! I did wonder if that was your big secret. Both the owl and panda have so much texture, I almost felt as if you could tangle your fingers in the swirls on the panda. Fabulous work and I am looking forward to seeing the others you have done.
