Northern Shop Hop Quilt & a Book Review.................

Hello and welcome to February! What...... February a-l-r-e-a-d-y???!! Does this mean Christmas quilts will start arriving in postman Ian's arms? Being a long arm quilter is a bit like fashion retail in the sense that we work ahead of the seasons. A bit like my next quilt sharing episode. The Country Yard is yet again participating in The Northern Shop Hop, here is their tempting option for you!

Kerryn wanted light custom quilting, so I kept the quilting fairly simple. The quilt measures 50" square. Glide thread in 'Cool Grey' and the full Quiltmekiwi binding service.

To see the two previous Shop Hop quilts from The Country Yard that were also quilted by me see *here*  and *here*. To participate in this years shop hop, go the Northern Shop Hop Blog for more information.

As a professional quilter I am always looking for inspiration for the many quilts that enter my quilting studio for quilting. One such resource for inspiration is from books. Natalia Bonner has written another quilting book with inspiration to boot! The stars were shinning down on me when Natalia sent me a copy! C&T Publishing have once again linked up with Natalia. I know this will be a regular go to book for me, especially when I have those moments when I am stumped what to quilt.........yes it happens to every quilter!
