Megs Quilt

Thankyou to Meg for giving me this beauty to work on.Aren't the colours lovely?
Check out the other photo's for close ups of the the bead work .

Please feel free to click on the photo so you can see the beads
Here we have part of the centre of the quilt that has a stitched stem and appliqued leaves, I love how some flowers are not dead centre, it gives overall interest.I have been trying to figure out what kind of flowers they are? Camellias?Or Roses?

  1. What a nice quilt!!! Gorgeous quilting!!

  2. That quilt is beautiful, and your quilting really finishes it off. Stunning!

  3. Leeann...yes I think you are right about the Helleborus! good spotting!!

  4. What a delightful quilt - love the quilting - on the curved ones do you do double stitching? Now you can see why I want to make up that pattern I showed you yesterday. !!!!

  5. Hi Janis,
If you mean the triangles where I did a curved stitch - I only did one row of stitching...I think it is called 'Orange Peel'. I thought you might like the colours.
