Faraway Galaxy Quilt

I had fun making this one, rummaging to find some interesting dark print fabrics to round the olive centre square. Once I got to the quilting part, I started to think it would be a fun quilt for a teen boy who likes Starwars, gaming or Sci-fi movies, what do you think?

Quilting for Juliet & Vanessa

Hello Quilty Friends!

Welcome back for a round of five woolen quilts that I recently custom quilted.

Juliet & Vanessa are friends in the same quilting group lead & tutored by Ngaire Brooks.

Two quilts are Ngaire's design, one made by Juliet, the other by Vanessa.

Then there are two Christmas quilts of the same design, again made by each women.

So with each quilt I did something a little different on each one to make them not identical.

The final quilt was made by Vanessa approximately Ten Years ago, one of Sue Spargo's earlier designs.

See if you can spot the little bugs in the first design.

I have another new quilt listed for sale in my wee shop - Felt. 

Have you heard of Felt? It's like New Zealand's version of what Etsy used to be like back in the day, when handcrafted goodies were available to purchase, nothing mass produced. 

It's well worth a good browse, there are some absolutely gorgeous handcrafted goods.

Anyway this is where I choose to list the quilts I make to sell.
