Friday was my birthday, to celebrate my quilting friends organised a sewing night. Three of us were making the same quilt. This one is from the Primitive magazine. It is handy having your sewing night in
your favourite quilt shop , because when you run out of the brown fabric for your spool ends, you can just go purchase more!
In the left hand bottom corner are 4 plain squares, these have a appliquéd house scene with wool felt.
This quilt is only 36" square.
We had a lovely shared meal, which I was told not to contribute as it was my birthday, lots of laughs & I got some nice presents, here are some of them.

This quilt is called "Saltbox Farm'" designed by Natalie Bird of
The Birdhouse. The Country Yard had this as a BOM, but quickly sold out, but that is no suprise!
It was a bit chilly here in the north with a lovely frost, but I have a couple of my friends to keep me warm........
