Kookaburracottage quilt



Firstly welcome to September....also spring is here in New Zealand!



Thelma's daughter is new to appliqué, she made this quilt for her daughter & I got the pleasure of quilting it. I can tell you she did a great job too!

 The pattern is called "Playing with Angels" designed by Kookaburra Cottage Quilts
Border design


Lots of Madeira polyneon threads used & a few Gunold ones too.

do you like the feathers on the angel wings?
Button's will be attached for eyes etc. 





Last but not least the back, I wish I could have captured the lovely soft green.
