Thank you Beverley, Laura & Suzanne for trusting me with your beautiful quilts.

Now having a hubby that is a school teacher has meant there are frequent holidays. Over the years I use to carry on working with maybe a week off here & there, but now days I find myself taking the same time off too. I must confess I have come to enjoy it!
Below is a montage of some recent holiday happenings:

I hope you all had a good Easter break, here in the north island of New Zealand there was a wild storm. Sadly we had a our beautiful red Rhododendron blown over & broken by high winds & no power for 24hrs. The Easter bunny was reported to still get through, although not to my house??

I've managed a few knitting projects too & reading!

Until next time, take care & happy creating.
Leeanne.

  1. A lovely post Leeanne. As usual a stunning line up of quilts & quilting. I love the vintage sheets one - I have some of those in my "stash". Yes I did notice those corner triangles not quilted - how effective. Its wonderful that you had a great holiday - I wish I could reach into my screen & try one of your hot cross buns. Some really lovely knitting lined up! xx

  3. Nice quilting jobs. That is pretty tricky that you can somehow mask out those triangles to avoid stitching them down. Was that quilt all Tula Pink fabrics?
On top of everything else, you still had time for all that knitting?!? You do a good job of that, too!
