This quilt was made by Megan for a shop sample for The Country Yard
The fabric line is from Red Rooster Fabric's, designed by Jacqueline Paton called " Weed's n' Tweeds'. Megan drew her inspiration for this quilt from a Chookshed pattern called " The Breakfast Creek Swag".
In the Chookshed pattern the top section is an appliquéd house, but I think the panel looks great too. I did simple quilting, straight lines, cross hatching using a Gunold variegated thread & a loose meander using 'Sew- Art invisible thread for the top panel.
This will be available as a kit at The Country Yard.
I like your double cross hatch.... i'm saving that idea! thanks!
