One quilt made by Pam, the other made by Marianne. Designed by
The Country Yard as a mystery stitchery. Design called 'Friends'.
Both ladies asked for their quilts to be quilted the same as the
shop sample. So I worked much like when I worked in the sewing factory days! Same design, same threads, but different battings, Pam's quilt had a poly batting & Marianne's had Matilda's Own poly/cotton batting & a french general backing fabric from the same range.
Very cute quilts, and nice quilting job, as always.
ReplyDeleteDoes it bother you at all to do duplicates?
Gorgeous mystery stitchery quilt Leeanne - love the way you have quilted it too. Love the colours in it & the little verses. Very tempting :-)
ReplyDeleteWoops ... I mean quilted "them" -- forgot there were two :-)
ReplyDeleteFantastic Leeanne! Well done!
ReplyDeleteHi Leeanne- oh well done on doing such a fine job of these two quilts - both ladies have done a great job too - and the DWR in the previous post is just stunning, I love that it's finished even after all this time, the maker must be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts and your quilting is lovely as always :)
