            I recently finished knitting socks for one of my sons & his girlfriend. I hope they like them!

I used self striping yarn from Opal.

I hope my son still likes ORANGE!

Thank you Angela, Gail and Lara for entrusting your colourful quilts to me.

Over the last few months I have been knitting nearly every night. And in the past three years I've knitted loads of jumpers and cardigans for my two youngest grandkids. When they had enough garments to keep them warm and toastie, I just kept knitting with no one in mind. I knitted baby cardigans and vests, I now have quite a nice stack!  I've given some away when I hear of someone who's had a baby. Now my focus is knitting socks. They make great gifts. 

I love the Opal self patterning yarn, it's fun to see the pattern evolve as I knit.

 I really look forward to the end of the day so I can put my feet up, pick up my knitting and watch a movie or series with my sweet hubby.
