Kiwiana quilt and birthday loot!

                      Hello and welcome back friends!

First on the agenda tonight is Anne's creation. A fun quilt made for her grandson, featuring kiwiana fabric.

Anne spent several Thursday's at The Country Yard making this quilt. (I know this because I work there on Thursdays!) Anne then asked me to please do the quilting for her. She was keen on this all over quilting design (edge to edge) called "Waitomo", we agreed the design looked like funky rugby balls.............perfect for a rugby loving boy!

Take a look at the backing.................it's perfect Kiwiana!

Thank you Anne, I hope your grandson has many years of comfort under this quilt made with your love.

This week I had another birthday and I wanted to share how very lucky I was, gifts of the wonderfully homemade, store bought, all received by me with such amazement and a feeling of  love!

Friends close by and far away...............thank you sooooo very much!

pincushion teapot made by Barbara

Thank you friends for your lovely thoughts and generosity, you have made me feel very special indeed. xxxxx
