With the arrival of The Man in the Big Red suit shortly, I plan to stop quilting for this year & will have a nice break. I want to sew, bike ride, drink coffee (oh wait I do that special thing every day!) possibly potter around doing some neglected jobs around the house & garden.
I have put the Christmas tree up ready for the festive season,
another year of going all out with lots of effort:

For my readers w-a-y on the other side of the world,
here in New Zealand Christmas time is summer time!
Which must seem very unreal to you all, just as a wintery Christmas is to us Kiwi's.
But don't worry Santa knows & comes prepared:

Until next time, be safe out there while jostling your way the through malls & the supermarkets!

Leeanne.

  1. How wonderful Leeanne ... a real fruit salad post today with such a gorgeous mixture of quilts & quilting!! Do I spy some vintage sheets in Linda's pieced backings? Very special. A wonderful array but I think that truffle one just pops right out at you & of course, your quilting brings it to life in such a special way - hours in that one I imagine (quilting that is ?).
You have seriously outdone yourself this year with your tree & I imagine husband had to help load that one down from the rafters??!!! Like you I would LOVe to experience a cold Christmas one year. I'm over the heat already & its not even January!! x0x
