A friend in Switzerland likes sheep, so I hope she likes and gets a laugh from this bag.
A close up of some of the sheep knitting!
I finished this last week,I started piecing it at a retreat back in May. These quilts are always fun to make. I made mine a bit bigger than the pattern...Buggy Barn, Quilters Village. 109" x 80" as I wanted it to go over my pillows.
The bulk of the fabric is Kansas Troubles except for a few and the border fabric.
Please click on this one if you want to see the feather border. The rest of the quilting was open meander using Signature variegated thread. I used Bamboo batting and flannel backing and my thanks goes to
Bonnie Hunter for the idea for the label.

Your latest Buggy Barn looks great!! How satisfying to see it on the bed :-) And yes, the label is a neat idea.
ReplyDeleteLot's of lovely quilts Leeanne, but I think the houses one is my favourite;O)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me about the label idea it was one I had filed away in my brain and had long forgotten about LOl
Did you use pen on your label - or is it some sort of flash stitching??
ReplyDeleteLove the bag and the quilts in your post today. I have made one buggy barn quilt pattern - the one with the dogs and dog houses. It about drove me crazy as I like things to match up and I just had the worst time getting a handle on the buggy barn technique. But the quilt made up nice and my grandson loves it and that is what matters.
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are beautiful. That sheep fabric is so cute!
