A Scrappy Sunday............................

A bit of this and that was what my Sunday was like.

Working on a scrap quilt for a family member...............................

Finding a place for my newly finished Wendy Briggs/ Kathy Schmitz quilt........................

Cleaning out the log burner to find heaps of honey bees inside the box covered in ash! Rescuing them the making a display on the fire box................

More scrap quilt making and noticing from the state of my scraps that the pile is NOT shrinking!

My scraps are an eclectic bunch! I love the memories that flood through from seeing the mix of fabrics, remnants of quilts I have previously made.

Giving up the idea to mow the lawns for a nice walk instead....................................

Some furry friend enjoying me being out in the garden............................

How was your Sunday? Scrappy like mine, or more organised and structured? Either way I hope you took time to smell the roses.

  1. loving the scrappy quilt and also I spied a very nice sewing machine cover. Your hanging quilt looks beautiful too. Sunday morning here, catching up on blogs and watching a create and craft show. Heidi my machine has broken so no machining for me till it is better again so hand stitching it will be. I had a visitor yesterday too in the garden pegging out the washing when I disturbed an old fox not sure who was more surprised he did not hang around fro a photo though

  5. Gorgeous scrappy quilt Leeanne, love the fabrics you are using up. LoVE where you have hung your Wendy Briggs quilt tho am sure I have a better spot in my house for it :-) Cool display around your firebox - some very lovely crafts there. Looks like Simon is about to pounce on something in that tree.
